High Desert Second Chance is a non-profit organization that is here to help those in need, to give a helping hand to the homeless and the hungry, to help give them them hope. We are here to not only inspire others to better their lives, but to help them do so by providing a healthy, clean, and positive environment to those in need. We formed and came together because of the growing number of homeless families and individuals in our community. To help these men and women who are in need, to get them help, cleaned up, to get a job, to be safe and warm, to help them take the steps needed to be able to receive state benefits, SSI, and/or medical benefits that they maybe entitled to but can't get because they don't have a permanent address to be able to put down on paper. To help the families and individuals in our community who are having a hard time supporting their families or themselves and just simply need food, clothes on their backs, or just someone to talk to. We provide these things to our community.

 

We are currently serving the whole high desert: Hesperia, Victorville, Baldy Mesa, Adelanto, Helendale, Phelan, Fort Irwin, Oak Hills, Apple Valley, and soon Barstow.
